Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school

Elderslie High School's Dance Spectacular
Our talented students shone on stage at Elderslie High School’s Dance Spectacular. Their passion and energy lit up the stage, and we are so proud of each and every one of them.

Tournament of Minds
A group of students proudly represented Cobbitty Public School at the Tournament of Minds competition. Our students worked collaboratively, giving up their break times at school to prepare. Their creativity, critical thinking and teamwork were outstanding, and we are so impressed with the way they represented our school values throughout the competition.

Book Week Parade
Our Book Parade was full of colour, creativity and characters leaping straight out of the pages of favourite stories. From superheroes to story book classics, our students brought the magic of reading to life! Afterwards we gathered together for our family picnic, the perfect opportunity to browse the Book Fair and enjoy a delicious sausage sizzle.

Athletics Carnival
Despite the rain and puddly conditions, our competing students showed incredible determination, resilience, and sportsmanship as they ran at our 3-6 Athletics Carnival. The cheering, the teamwork, and the smiles through the showers made the day a memorable one. Congratulations to all of our competitors for giving it their best in true Cobbitty spirit.

Art Show
What a fantastic way to begin Public Education Week. Thank you to our amazing staff, students and families for making our Cobbitty Art Show such a success. The hall was bursting with colour, creativity and pride. A true celebration of how public education can Ignite Your Potential.

Yarning Circle
We’re proud to share our new yarning circle - a special place for connection, storytelling and learning. Grounded in Aboriginal tradition, our yarning circle will be used to build stronger relationships, deepen cultural understanding and give every student a voice. It’s a place where we come together to listen, learn and grow- respecting culture, community and each other. We can’t wait to see the meaningful conversations and connections this space will inspire.

Easter Hat Parade
What a wonderful day it was celebrating Easter with our amazing students and their families. Our K-2 Easter Hat Parade was a huge hit, with students proudly showcasing their creative and colourful hats! The fun continued with a beautiful picnic on the grass, where families came together to enjoy the sunshine and great company.

Pink SRC Mufti Day
Cobbitty was a sea of pink as our staff and students came together for our SRC mufti day in support of the Camden Mothers Day Classic - raising funds for breast and ovarian cancer. Thank you to everyone who generously donated and showed their support for this very important cause. We are proud to be a part of a community that cares.

100 Days of Learning
Our Kindergarten students celebrated 100 Days of Learning. From walking sticks to grey hair and glasses, our littlest learners embraced the fun and showed just how far they’ve come in 100 days of learning, growing and achieving together. We’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished.
"Our child started Kindergarten this year, and we have been so impressed with how welcome and supported both our child and our family are at Cobbitty Public School. It is a relief to know our child feels safe and inspired at school every single day.” — a Kindergarten parent
